Here is the third and final edition (for now) featuring some wedding dress trends for Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 weddings. It seems designers are trying their best to stand out as they are getting more creative with embellishments, appliqués, and other bling to adorn their dresses. Today on the blog we will look at some more hot wedding trends, especially what is being added to dresses to make them stand out!
Appliques and Adornments Galore:
Sequins, pearls, creative beadwork, and lace! As designers push to stand out, wedding gowns are getting seriously glitzy this season! You’ll find beading just about everywhere, think layers and rows of beading, but in beautiful and subtle styles.
Column Beadwork:
This trend is very popular this season, especially with vertical columns of pearls. Bonus: The result elongates the body and has a slimming effect.

Pearl seems to be the bling of choice this season.

It’s All in the Details:
Designers seem to be all about the little additions, the little extras, the little details of the wedding dress. Many dresses with feathers, bows, and rosettes are gracing the wedding fashion runways lately.
Flowers/Rosettes:
Flowers are already a staple throughout a wedding and the decor, but now floral arrangements are going beyond the bouquets this season and being added straight to the wedding gowns! Rosette finishes and floral designs are all over wedding dresses this season.

Feathers:
Luxe feathers provide a glamorous, airy detail to dresses as they are being added bodices and to trains.

Small and simple as well as oversized bows were incorporated into many wedding dress designs.

Lattice details:
Designers are adding a look of netting or a basket-weave design into wedding dresses for a style that’s unexpected yet unique and timeless. It isn’t anything too big but a neat subtle design to the dress.
